![]() Have closed all other applications in case there might have been a conflict but no difference. Have tried it several times with the same result. Unfortunately, I now find that the program sits at the loading scenery stage, so it's a case of one step forward and two steps backward. This would suggest that the controller is being recognised by FG which is a step in the right direction (don't know at this stage which buttons are which but that can come later). Your system and FlightGear will not overwrite it. This will then be used for the first joystick on The second example shows how to load a driver directly to (You can also add a defaultĮntry to the driver to make it the default choice.) These drivers have precedence over already existing drivers The joystick hardware (see output of the js_demo application). Such "named"ĭrivers are only picked up if one of their s matches The joysticks.xml file resides (first example). entries with paths relative to the directory where I have done as you suggested and below you will see the joystick.xml file content and below that the details from the Help/joystick info pull down which I did after several attempts manage to view. Hi again, sorry to keep coming back but at the moment I am feeling very frustrated. I have assumed that although his was written for a wireless xbox 360 controller and mine is wired this shouldn't make any difference. Therefore, under the PropertyList I have the following line as the first entry In my data/joysticks/Microsoft folder I have an entry xbox-360.xml which is, as I have said, a copy of the entry posted by zexe modified as required to match the info I receive from Help/Joystick Info and Device Manager. I do not have an Input/Joysticks/Local folder (unless it's hidden). I have edited the PropertyList entry in the joystick, xml file, which in my case is found in FlightGear 2.4.0/data folder to add the last line (shown in bold). ![]() nasal controls.incThrottle(-0.04, -1.Sorry to be dumb but I am obviously not understanding the xml file entries correctly as the joystick is still showing as default when I run FG. Tested it out with 2 buttons on my own AV8R joystick and it works fine but a bit slow if you need to open your throttles in emergency so i upped the 0.01 to 0.04 on mine below Other way just uses negative numbers -0.01, -1.0 Is unusual as it is the first time i have seen throttles using two axis configuration! So maybe each axis is really acting as a button? If that's the case you need to check out the scripts keyboard PageUp PageDown use and adapt those for your Xbox pad. ![]() (you could try using this 0.0 one between the mod-up markers in the code box above then speedbrakes close when you release the button). property-assign /controls/flight/speedbrake 0.0 property-assign /controls/flight/speedbrake 1.0 Setprop("/controls/flight/speedbrake", 0)įrom my own joystick I found top one puts them out bottom one puts them in-> Setprop("/controls/flight/speedbrake", 1) Your Button No 10 description - speedbrakes ? Loads of lines must be considered as work in progress and tests.ĪSTON ASTON Posts: 12 Joined: Mon 5:05 pm Location: LFSR - FR Callsign: GB-586 OS: MAC OS Xīonjour Aston, for speedbrakes you should be able to find scripts similar to those you are using by searching the other xml files in the joysticks folder. I join you my controller custom.xml code to share my code mess ha ha Then, i would like to set Speed Brakes button but i can't find the Nasal script dedicated to (Iv to admit i'm not use to nasal code so i maybe have great lacks of code vocabulary!) and it's the same thingĭid someone already wrote those codelines? Or can someone basically sketch those lines? On the Xbox pad, left & right triggers are designated Axis 4 & 5 (tested on js_demo) and i already managed them as throttle down & up AND mostly i would like to control throttle likeĪ "real" throttle quadrant and so being able to control speed with "accurate" precision - For the moment, i use those triggers for throttle but, when they are free of finger pressure, throttle is always stated at MAX. For the moment I'm flyin with the F-14b and i'd like a pad dedicated to it. Need some advices and clues to completely set up buttons. ![]() I was well inspired by PS3 pad threads, and my pad is working basically well! But! I only know basics code languages and I own an xbox 360 and decided to set its controller on my iMac. Its been a week since i started to edit the controller. It's my first post on that board i'm lookin at several times in a week since months - Loads of threads have been helpful to fix some minor problems i had through.SO FIST! THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT! ![]()
